The 4320 alloy (a low-alloy nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel) offers an exceptional combination of high tensile strength, fatigue resistance, and ductility, making it ideal for extreme internal combustion environments. These pistons are closed-die forged, enhancing grain structure alignment and increasing material density, resulting in superior mechanical integrity compared to cast alternatives.
